Directly across from Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center's Medical Clinic is:

The Life Center

The Blue Ridge Life Center exists to embrace all families in our community by supporting them practically and emotionally through education and resource support all while furthering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For questions or interest on how to get involved with this side of our ministry, contact Pam Mulligan, our Life Center Director for more information.

WHAT IS PLS + HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Parenting and Life Skills Class plays a primary role in our Life Center. These classes are highly attended, and are a way to support our patients who courageously choose life for their baby. Through class attendance, BRPC provides education and practical baby items. But more importantly, we want our patients to make connections with Christian communities, and we've seen this done effectively through the role of mentor. Our role as a pregnancy center is to support families from pregnancy throughout baby's first year of life. Mentors have an invaluable role: they are able to provide ongoing support throughout classes and beyond the patient's time here at BRPC, helping build bridges of connection and support with healthy Christian communities.

Class Times:

Tuesday Evenings, 5:30pm-7:30pm

Thursday Mornings, 9:30 am-11:30 am

CURRENT NEEDS:

in-kind donations

Please note: Because the baby items in our Boutique are used as gifts for patients, we accept donations of new items only. If you have used items you'd like to donate, please consider donating them to either the Agape Center or to Mission Thrift.

Current needs of our Baby Boutique include:

  • Diapers (sizes 3, 4 and 5)

  • Wipes (sensitive skin)

  • Baby clothes - baby socks, outfits sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months (we need both boys and girls clothes, but we're definitely more sparse on boys clothing at the moment! Note: new items only)

We've made it easy to shop our Amazon Baby Registry! The items you purchase will then ship directly to our pregnancy center. Please note the "must have" items, as these are high priority items for our center.

PRAYER ROOM

Our new prayer room is officially open to anyone that would like a quiet place to pray. Please join us in prayer for all that God is doing through BRPC. Your commitment to lift up the center and all that walk through our doors is incredibly valued appreciated, as we believe in the power of prayer! Please schedule a time below that works best for you using the button below!

FAMILY NIGHTS

While a majority of our programs are designed for pregnancy and baby's first year of life, Family Night is one way we incorporate continued support and connection for all who have come through BRPC's doors. Amidst this time of food and fellowship, there will often be a class taught on various subjects pertinent to parenting and building a family.

Men's ministry update:

The Men's Ministry has officially launched, and we have seen the Lord provide above and beyond our expectations. In February, we hosted a male-only training class, where seven new volunteers attended and received the training needed to move them into the next preparation stage. We have also seen an influx of volunteers and currently have 12 men in the pipeline to attend the next training that will be held in April. The goal is to have a man meet with every man that walks into the center and have a mentor that can meet with them when they leave. By God's grace, there has been a male advocate to meet with 80% of the men who have sought the services of the BRPC, and we have male mentors lined up for both of the current PLS classes.

I am excited about all that God is doing and look forward to seeing how He continues to provide all we need for our good and His glory. Thank you for your prayers and support!
